As the executor, administrator or personal representative of an estate, you will be charged with overseeing the orderly administration of the estate, either in accordance with the terms of a will, or under state intestacy laws.  When you retain me to help you take an estate through the probate process:

• I will prepare and file all required documents, including tax ID, and will act as your advocate in all hearings or other proceedings.
• I will help you put together an inventory of all of the assets.
• I will help you get valuations of property, if necessary.
• I will help you make certain that all final debts and tax obligations of the estate are paid. This includes the preparation of the estate tax return.
• I will help you oversee the distribution of assets in accordance with the will or the laws of intestacy.
